Either would be fine, I prefer the 275/30 but some people like running a larger tire from rear to front.

I like my tires the same size.

Either way, your car will be fine with either tire size.

G35 Coupe
Lookin to change out my alloy rims, right now I have tire size 225/50R/17 on them....If I go to the sporty 19 inch Rim, with tire size 225/40R/19, has anyone had any problems with the ride it gives with the 19 inch Rim....Also can someone tell me the difference b/wa 225/40ZR/19 vs. 225/40R/19.....I'm a gurl, so I'm not into racing, teehee...any advice?

The Z rating is for the speed rating of the tire. Does not affect the sizing

Spare tire for 05' G35 coupe with BBK

I may be overlooking the answers somewhere in the forum but I cannot find them to these questions so here I post....

I have a Stoptech BBK kit and I just realized that my spare will no longer fit the front because it will not clear the calipers. It seems to be more of a issue than spacers could cure. Anyone figured out a good/economical solution for this issue?

I was also wondering about a good direction to go for a economical winter set of wheels for this car considering the larger front brakes. I'd love to find some scratched up 17" whatevers that could be flat blacked and have some decent winter driving tires to use when the salt is on the roads. I'm not going thru another Indiana winter with my polished Volks again!!

Thanks for any/all help or ideas!

1. I hate that you have a BBK on a winter driven car lol

IMO, buy some 2003/2004 18" sport wheels. They clear BBK and they don't look half bad. If you wanted to throw 25mm spacers on all corners so you don't feel wack driving it in the winter. Then find something that will fit the spare tire well and keep one of the 25mm spacers in the trunk with it. (unless the 18s fit in the trunk?)

The problem you have there is the small tire well in the trunk, so either that or get CAA

Oh, and blizzaks are wicked winter tires.

sedan, sorry forgot to give more specifics...dropped with about a 1" gap all around, which i still need to lower more...no camber kit, and nothing has been adjusted as of yet...i really would like to keep camber to a minimum, nothing too aggressive, just trying to give it the completed flush look

If you plan to go a little lower, I'd do a 20 in the back and 25 in the front.

Are your fenders rolled? Because to get flush you need to roll your rear fenders.
