If I'm planning to run 20s on my coupe, would the offsets 15F/15R rub at all? Wheels are R1 Hype 20x8.5F, 20x10R.

Depends on a lot of things

They'd be wrapped in 245/35 in the fronts and 245/30 in the rears.

Why have you selected these tire sizes?

Would they rub if I dropped them on 350z Htechs?

With those tire sizes, no not a chance.

Also...this is probably a dumb question, but would 20s make my car look higher than on oem 19s? LOL

Yes and no, depends on the size of tire. When you go aftermarket you wan to try and keep the overall diameter as close to OEM sizing as possible. So if you go from 19 to 20s, you'll want to run a smaller tire so the 20" is the same overall size as the 19" is with the larger tire.

"Depends on a lot of things"

Haha, like what? Sorry, I'm pretty clueless on these things...

I didn't select these tire sizes, but the wheel package that I'm planning to order provides these sizes.

(Wow...I made a typo. I meant 245/35 in the front, 275/30 in the rear) Sorry.

What tire sizes would you recommend then?

Thanks for the help!

Ahhh, then yes that would be suitable! 245/35 and 275/30 would do great, I suggest you roll your rear fenders though to prevent any unwanted rubbing. If you need someone to roll your fenders, let me know where you live and I'll find you want.

Monard, I think I should start getting paid or something haha.

Thanks! Haha. So 20s on 275/30 will rub on stock suspension in the rear?
What's the price for rolling fenders? I only want to do it if its necessary aha.
I live in Irvine, Ca. I appreciate the help!

You're about an hour away from one of the best fender rollers ever. Contact "shanesG" on this forum. He actually started this thread lol

It's not necessary, I just always recommend rolling fenders as a precaution. But you won't really need it for your set up. Just a suggestion. Fender rolling is less than $100 bucks. I don't know exactly what Shane charges but he's rolled more cars than most people have driven.

20x8.5 or 20x9?

hi i need some info on what wheel size to go with on my 07 g35x. I would like 245/35/20 tires all around so would i be best off with a 20x9 or 20x8.5 and im not looking for an aggressive fit just something that looks good, I may lower the car on eibach springs at some point so my other question is what offset would be best for what i need? I dont want to make a 2k$ mistake. the wheels are forgestar f14s if that makes a difference

Go 20x9.5 all around with a +30 or +35, the 9.5 will give the car a better look from behind and it's also in the category for forgestar's "deep concave" wheels which is the wheel craze right now. (you could also run large tires this way if you wanted to say a 255/35 )

I'd say go 10s all around but you might not be interested in that width...

My 2DR is currently on 20x9 +22 offset w/ 245/35 front tires and 20x10.5 + 35 offset w/ 285/30 rear tires.

I'm focused on dropping it for now and would like it to look like these two G's. The only thing I know about their suspension is that they're using Tenabe Springs DF210 with tokico shocks
What should I take into consideration to make it look this way?
Spacers?
Cambers?
Fender Rolling to avoid rubbing?

I just wanna do it the right way
Any specific vendor recommendation?

Thanks guys

19x9.5/11...225/35/19 F and 265/35/19 R tires...running a 10mm spacer in fronts only

No spacers 19x9.5 19x10.5 -5 offset all around

If you can get your fenders rolled, 25s in the front and 30s in the back.

If you can't get them rolled, 25 front and back.

Ok... Are you trying to achieve this look with your current wheels or did you plan to buy new ones?

First, neither of those cars are dropped on Df210s and Tokicos. They are fully adjustable coilovers.

Your first purchase to pull this off is quality coilovers, my suggestion for these are Stance GR+ They run about $1300 new or $900-$1000 used. Other coilovers work, but these are stiff enough and they go really low. I'm not sure whose a vendor for them to be honest though....

The rear isn't really aggressive enough and you're going to need a really big spacer to make it poke like those cars.

So say you drop your car on stance coils and ad 25mm spacers in the front and 40mm spacers in the rear making your effective offsets -3 front and -5 rear.

You slam the car 3" and you will get about -2.5 or -3 degrees of camber adjust that (with an alignment shop) to about -2. Roll your fenders flat. Mount 225/35 (215/35 if you can find it) and 245/35 tires on your wheels and you'll be pretty damn flush and looking aggressive.

My strongest suggestion, buy the coilovers then hang around in the aggressive wheels and stretched tires thread. Ask some question learn some **** then buy new wheels with lower offsets!

Anything else you would like to know, I'll answer tomorrow morning. I have the flu I think and I'm going to bed lol

Honestly I hope I wouldnt have to buy new wheels because I love how mine look.

I've asked both owners and they both said they were dropped on Df210s and Tokicos.

Anyhow I agree with what you said though, adjustable coiloverss should be my first purchase. do you think 3" drop is gonna make it look like those two along with large spacers??

feel better man

Ick, IMO they've done it wrong. Adjustable is the only way to go to have control of your stance.

Yea you can make em work, you just need some big spacers. Follow what I said and you'll be fine!
