Ok, so I plan on getting some track oriented wheels and tires for my wife's g35 sedan. I was hoping to find out what offset would work without fender modifications running either a 17x9 or 17x8.5 and a 255/40/17 tire all the way around.
I guess a 17x8.5 +35 might work but I wanted to find out if anyone else has tried it.
It is a 2005 6mt seran if that helps.

g37s wheels need rubbbbbber
i just got some g37s coupe wheels with following specs:
f 19x8.5 +43mm
r 19x9 +45mm
i have an 05 sedan, stock height for now might do mild drop later down the road but am not considering it right now. i am complete noob at tire/wheel sizes, although i have been learning quite a bit from you smart people.
im gonna run toyo proxes t1r's and using the 1010 tire calculator, i landed on these sizes:
f 245/40/19 r 265/35/19
will i have any issues other than my speedo being slightly off? what size spacers should i run to sit flush?
i will mail you a singular dollar bill if you can answer these questions accurately and/or provide better advise as to what tires to run. limit one per person per lifetime.

I do know that the 245 40 19 (what I run on my car) is equal to the stock sport 235 40 18 that comes on the car . So with that size your speedo will be just fine (if your car was a sport model). As for the back, the wheel size calculator said this:
So it should not be a big deal.
When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 59.1mph (95.2km/h): 1.5% slower.

I had asked this before in here and never got a response. If I was running a 20x10 wheel on all 4 corners of a coupe what tire size should I go with for a MILD stretch and keep the VDC happy? If you need to know the offsets they are 20 front and 25 rear...I know not the greatest but ok I guess. Was thinking a 255/30 front and a 265 or 275/30 rear? Am I way off here? Thanks!

So I need new tires and I am going to go w 20's cause I heard they were cheaper than 19's... I was told toyo tires were one of the best and the tire guys from my work said they suck (keep in mind I know nothing about cars hence why I am on the forums now cause I love my g and am gunn a start mods) anyway, they recommended perelli, michellin and Goodyear... So wanted the peoples opinion on here and also any advice on where to purchase w some good deals would be great, thanks!

okay so i picked up a set of axis matrix
F 20x9 +25
R 20x10.5 +35
the fronts seem like they barely touch my brembro calipers, what size spacers should i get? also the wheels didn't come with the lugs, can i just use the oem lugs?
also, should i run spacers on the rears to sit flush?

275/30 might be a lot cheaper.
swap the 255 to the rear if u wanna have the stretch look

i don't think u can use oem lugs.
for flushness all around, i'd use 20 to 25-mm up front and 25-mm for rear.

Current:
Tein Flex: Rear maxed out. Front as low as I can go and still turn the wheel.
Volk GTS
19x9.5 +17 255/35/19
19x10.5 +18 275/35/19
*Camber is uncorrected*
To get the top of the wheel to come super flush with the sheet metal, what size spacer should I use? Also what size tire to get a little more stretch out of it?

I have a '06 rwd sedan and i just bought the oem coupe 18'' wheels. Note the Rays but the other 7 spokes model. They're fitted with 225/45 tires in front and 245/45 tires in the rear. Now the problem is that the rear tires are just a bit wider than the wheel weel, so they rub on the fender as soon as i hit the smallest bumb. Since i already saw a couple of sedans with these wheels, i wonder what should i do to avoid my wheels rubbing on the fenders at every small bumbs. I've often heard about rolling up the fenders, but i'm not sure of what it actually is and if it could solve my problem. I was also planning to get the G/Z combo for my suspension but now i really wonder if i can drop the car 1 more inch on those wide wheels...
I know this question has probably been asked before, but i kinda want a quick answer. I would be thankful to anybody who will enlighten me about that problem. thanks.
edit: i was on the base 17'' wheels before, don't know if it could be linked to the problem.
