Chatt you shoulda kept those 15mm for your 225... That would be ideal... -3 on 235 is not really functional unless you have all flat roads and driveways... Definately wouldn't recommend a newbie doin that

quick question? Originally your wheels were hyper black I believe...Is that still the current finish with your most recent setup? BTW loved the progression photos on this thread! awesome info and sweet rides

Yep these are the hyperblack all the way thru the thread. They call is black referring to the inner wheel-outer spoke is a powder coated mirror finish and the top lip is black which looks killer when you stretch thanks

To chart or jentz: as you said earlier running a +12 would allow a 275/30 or 275/35 rear with a conservative drop plus a fender roll. I'm not opposed to pulling either. I just want to drive it with a passenger on Tampa roads with minimal/ no rub. Is this possible or do you have any other suggestions. Btw I like the stance look. I just want function and minimal headache. Thanks in advance.

If you look in the earlier pages you will see my car with 2753519 +12 w/roll it takes the whole fender.. It also looks like crap.. For function looks and performance get away from such a big rear.. 275 is way to big if your trying to achieve a clean look go 245 or 255 and add a spacer

yeah...with the 275 and +12's its pretty much impossible to add spacers with that fat of tire...would need at least a 265 or 255 to squeeze in a 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear

I appreciate the help guys. Ill probably go with a +22 with a 5mm spacer. My good friend is a Nissan master tech. He said a 275 rear was OK. He has a 285 on his 350z. He's had no vdc issues. As I said before the stance look is great. I just don't want a headache when it cone to where I can and can't go along with scraping. My girl works downtown and parks in a garage. I pick her up sometimes and love to set off car alarms with my exhaust ( yes, I'm that guy ). Lastly, both your cars look great! Thanks again.
