Post how you like them when you've had a chance to put a few miles on. Super happy with mine on the G and the GTO.

Gotcha. Makes sense.

I've put a couple hundred miles on them now. They're really nice tires. I've never tried PSS tires but these are nice. Nicer than the Nitto Motivos I had on it FOR SURE. Much more confident, less likely to lose the tail end under hard cornering, but still really predictable.

Anybody here used Firehawk Indy 500s? Just bought a set and curious to see how they do under hard driving on our cars... if nobody knows maybe the only way to find out is some on-track testing!

Probably the best tire for the money I've ever had and mine seem to be wearing well.

^Famous last words I suppose, for all the gory details read this......I need to use a tire depth gauge more often, obviously my eyes deceive me.

IDK which car you have but was it just down to 2/32 because of toe wear? That happened to my last fronts since I can't rotate (staggered coupe)

My daily now is a bone stock 06 GTO M6. With all that I put myself through modding the G I made a pledge to myself to keep the Goat 99% stock. I bought it almost 3 years ago now and it had 27K miles on it when I picked it up.

Alignment has always been in factory spec and the tires wore very evenly across the tread. I'd say more but read through my thread above, it's got all the gory details.

Fair, but dynamic toe (loaded around turns and under power) can prematurely wear tires too. Example - compression rods.

Heard, but wouldn't that show up as more pronounced inner tire wear as regular toe does?

Yeah, exactly. My feathering was diagonal wear. Fixed with adjustable camber arms and toe bolts.
