ALl I need is a loud-*** exhaust/engine and some fat meats out back
I guess I should get a mullet and just go drop a 451 into Trans Am

If someone does it for the looks as well, it still looks like crap because of the conservative stock offsets.
And omg, that guy that put 315's on his G. What is this, a Viper?

He just wants more performance and doesn't care about the bling... or he likes the stock bling as it is...

i have a question as to whether or not anybody has gotten the nismo lm gt4 for the g. i'm sure there are people who have gotten them. i also want to know for tracking purposes, would it be a smart idea to go from oem 19" to the nismo 18"? if we're talking about rotational inertia, the size of the rim would matter correct? also, i used the tire calculator and found that you can utilize 255/40/18 in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear. let me know how this setup is when we're talking about going from 19" to 18". thanks!

He went from 7.5inches to 10inches. Like I said I like the stock look.
Once its all done I'll take pictures & give my report.
As for offsets, I'll need a caculator to figure it out.
Right now I have 25mm H&R spacers on my rear wheels. I measured the clearance of the back of my tires, they're about 3in from any obstructions(suspension stuff)
So I figure 2 inches wider on my rims will still give me enough space underneath.
I love the spacers. They bring the tires out to fill the wheelwells just right. IMO!

Updates???
Currently have my stock setup: 225/40/19 Front & 245/40/19 Rear
I need new tires and I have car lowered about 1 inch.
So for their new tires, did you all just rebuy your stock setup or did you go 245/35/19 Front & 275/35/19 Rear?
If you went with the larger setup, was their a noticeable "drive" difference?

HOWEVER - if you go to Tirerack.com and check for alternate sizing recommendations, they will agree that the 245's and 275 are right ...as well as most tires shops.

Thanks for the pics. You have helped me make up my mind about what size to go when I replace mine. Do you have 245/35/19's in the fronts?
