Vortech supercharged drivers. Need your help.
My car is an 06 coupe with the rev up motor. At 81,000 miles, I had a Stillen cat back and Stillen high flow cats put on, as well as the full Vortech kit. It's running only 6psi (as it comes) on the stock motor. It's been amazing. BUT.....as it goes on, I'm noticing things, noises and performance variations that are frightening my poor ***.
First question-what oil psi do you normally see with your kit? Please be thorough. I.e.-idle psi, full throttle psi and cruising speed psi. At idle, I'm seeing 5 lbs as opposed to 10lbs when it was first put on. At full throttle it's never peeked above 22, and then obviously slowly drops as the charger is fed more oil.
Secondly, I'm noticing a fluttering noise, like a shitty throw out bearing or marbles clanking on deceleration. Ita not crazy loud, but noticable. Lately, even noticeable when maintaining speed at lower rpms. I'm also noticing more vibration on the shifter when accelerating.
Lastly, the performance seems like its waning. It's fast sometimes, and others not.
I've had the worst luck with things and I'm afraid of the worst. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, in advance.

It was a quart and a half low on oil. I took multiple readings of the oil and it read full. Apparently, I should've waited more than 10minutes for everything to settle while the car was off. Either way....I have a strange suspicion that there wasn't enough oil put in to begin with. 4,000 miles on amsoil isn't enough to "burn" that much oil if you ask me!

I'd suggest going against the owner's manual on this one and checking your oil when the engine is completely cold with this engine. The dipstick is very difficult to read and can give you false readings that can be easily misinterpreted. Just know that oil expands and to only fill the oil to about 75-80% when its cold. Also, these engines are known for oil consumption. I check my oil every 500 miles or so. Don't be surprised if you need to add a half quart or so. I was doing this for 173K miles on my 04 coupe. It consumed oil most of its life. At 173K I got some carbon blow by due to worn piston rings, and the carbon got caught on the exhaust valve which led to my exhaust valve being split in cylinder 4. Decided to go for a full rebuild and with my high mileage and forced induction. My block was immaculate with absolutely no wear in the bores. Looked like a new bottom end pretty much. Just keep up on your oil, if you want your car to last.
