Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
Here’s a close up pic of the terminals. I used a sealant on the jacket-to-terminal gap to occlude O2 to minimize oxidation prior to applying the clear heat-shrink.

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
Nice job bro. I'm impressed with the grounding on mine. I swear it's smoother idling, and quicker starting. You'll like.
So you gonna go into business and sell:

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
Thanks. I'm looking forward to feeling the difference. I might consider doing up a couple of sets for my "G brothers and sisters" if I was asked, especially for the locals. I guess then it'd be GG's G35 Grounding Gear

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
Hey Gord, nice work on the grounding kit. A very professional job for sure. Let me know if kit does what it says it's supposed to do. i.e. better mileage, smoother idling etc.
If it is all it's cracked up to be, I would definately be interested in purchasing a kit from you. So keep us posted on the effects of it. Later...............

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
I installed the Grounding Kit yesterday evening. This morning was the first opportunity to start and drive the car.
My initial impressions:
As GSM said in another thread, the car seems to start up a little easier. I didn't notice any significant difference in the idling. What I DID notice was a significant improvement in the feeling of smoothness of the engine in low to mid RPMs, even when the engine was cold. I REALLY like it! I can only describe it as a sewing machine smoothness quality to the feel of the engine. Very noticeable immediately!
The engine note seems to be a little less "raspy" during moderate throttle application, but I'm not positive.
I'm not sure about high RPM feel or differences in torque/HP, but the guys over at my350Z report improvements in same.
I'll keep you posted re my impressions later, but so far, the mod seems to be worth it. I'll take pics of the install and post them later.

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
This is great! I've seen the grounding kits selling for over $100, but it looks like it's just a collection of cables of varying lengths. Where can I find specs for cable lengths as well as connection points?

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
Here're some pics of my install. You should be able to determine the lengths by measuring from the grounding points.

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit
My grounding points are basically the same as where the guys on my350Z.com are doing them. It looks like we're all within inches of one another. I doubt that it makes a lot of difference, but a dyno might prove otherwise.
