Re: Hyper-Ground Kit-Experiences, Feedback, Etc.

Spent last weekend making my own with GG instructions and help. Thanks GG.
Don't like typing but here goes.
This set was made for my 4Runner, I also made a set for my son's SRT-4 and the "G". I will post the pics and comments on those when I take them.

More Power- Maybe, but the Butt Dyno is not calibrated.

Smoother Shifting form the Auto- For Sure, little faster too.

Smoother Idling and Off Throttle- Yes here too.

More Responsive to the gas Pedal- Yes.

Better Mileage- Unknown.

Worth the Money- Yes, I have done other mods before for more money with no results.

merlin,

where did you get the wire to make the kits? i'd do this myself, but if i only make one kit and purchase a crimper, i don't think it'd be worth it. what do you guys think?

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit-Experiences, Feedback, Etc.

If you are only going to use the crimper once it may not be worth it, but since I am always tinkering around the cars and house I knew I would use it all the time. If you want you can contact GG or I and we'll make a set for you. Mine's a little different than GG's, I installed gold terminals, changed the battery + and - to gold too and changed the - to chassis wire to a 2 gauge with gold ends. Thus mine came out to 6 wires plus the 1 and gold battery terms.
I will post those pics later when I drive the "G" since my wife's Butt Dyno is definitely dead and she says there was no change. If I feel it in the truck, she should too, darn her.

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit-Experiences, Feedback, Etc.

The "G" pics and comments. I only drove it like 2.5 miles since my wife kept saying she d/n think so...

More Power- Again maybe, but the Butt Dyno is not calibrated.

Smoother Shifting from the Auto- Yes, but again only 2 miles and the Manumatic still seemed to take 500rpm to shift.

Smoother Idling and Off Throttle- Yes. Sounds different, softer but with more authority, if that is possible

More Responsive to the gas Pedal- Yes.

Better Mileage- Unknown.

Worth the Money- Yes.

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit-Experiences, Feedback, Etc.

These are the pics for the SRT4 and HIS impressions.

More Power- Possible with more Torque added but his Butt Dyno is not calibrated either.

Smoother Shifting from the 5 Speed- Yes, upsift and down shift, easier to go into gears.

Smoother Idling and Off Throttle- Yes.

More Responsive to the gas Pedal- Unknown.

Better Mileage- Unknown.

Worth the Money- Yes, because it was free to him. Should take it out of his butt.

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

WOW!
I just got and installed GG's Grounding kit and I must say, I am impressed. I mean, I had no idea what a difference it would make. The car definately starts up smoother and shifts much much smoother. Acceleration feels completely different. I thought before that the car was pretty smooth, but with the kit it's night and day - like a whole different car. Like I said, I'm impressed.

I just filled up my tank after installing the kit and i'm going to watch my fuel economy, see if it gets any better.

Oh, and GG's kit is great! I installed it in an hour and I had a small mishap where I dropped my socket wrench down the front of the engine compartment. (luckily I am skinny enough to reach my arm down and fetch it.)

All in all, this is a great investment!
