There a a few different fobs that look the same externally but have slightly different internal configurations. The principle behind the mod is the same, but the execution is a little different, you have to be creative to get it to work correctly. I have 1 infiniti smartkey and 2 nissan smartkeys sitting in front of me, all with different circuit boards and buttom styles internally, I'll eventually get around to modding these and post a DIY

I filled the holes with epoxy. I dont even know if epoxy dries hard, but if it does that should fill the gap.

Epoxy didnt work at all, but I figured out something else. The electronics were no problem at all but I had a really hard time getting it to all fit back together. Finally after modification and many attempts I got it

I don't really want to be responsible for something that could wrong cuz for me it wasn't straight forward at all, I had to do a lot of things that werent on the DIY. But try PMing redlude97 he would probably be better at it.

Plus there would be no way for me to test it and make sure it works. Its really something you gotta do yourself to make sure it works right. If you get the kind of key fob that the OP has it shouldn't be too hard and if you get the kind I have I can tell you what I did so you dont have to go throught the trouble of trying different things.

I believe you can, but you must bring it to infiniti to be cut there and program the chip.

What did you do? I have one of those and I was just going to put it back up on ebay, but if you found a relatively easy fix maybe I'll keep it
