ye i was going to say, more steps would be alot more helpful, im a noob myself in wiring things so this doesnt help me at all

You would have been better off taking one of the blanks out of the underdash panel next to the trunk release, if you had one available. Those are usually big enough openings to display the lights and get the button to show. I've done this on numerous cars and ends up looking pretty good

Looks clean! Would you happen to know if placing the radar up high vs low makes a difference? I usually have mine lower. Thinking of hard wiring soon but unsure as to what location would be best.

Hard wire help!
I went down the same path you did hard wiring my radar but I chose to use an "add a circuit" it powers on and works fine but it is constantly on even if the car is completly off. I wired it into the "audio" fuse. Does anyone know what fuse would be better to wire into, one which turns off when the car is off?

Which fuse does not de-energize when starting up the car?
