Read the first page of this thread. It tells you what wires to tap into and what to do.
The OEM HU does not have a sub out. The Bose amp takes 4 channels in from the HU and sends 4 channels out left, right, front and rear, and also sends signals to the 6x9 fake subs. I don't know if the 6x9's are stereo, but all that signal splitting happens in the Bose amp.

you said to disconnect your rear 6x9s "so they dont muddle your sound"... will they sound any different than they did before the installation? or do you just mean that the quality of them wont be up to par with your new setup so you may as well disconnect them?
im assuming this step is not necessary*
if anyone can answer this i would appreciate it.

ok so i tried this diy to my 05 coupe bose. i used regular rca and cut it in half. i spliced it like the post said to and i got some loud buzzing noise no music tho. then i hooked an old stinger speaker to rca converter. and it worked but i had very little bass. can somone please shed some light for me.

Do you already have an amp or do you still need to get one? If you need to get one, buy one that accepts balanced line level inputs.
I'm sure there is something you can buy to connect to another type of amp, but I'm not sure what it would be because I haven't needed to find out.
