Hey all,

Just installed this unit from everythingg35.com. Happened to be that my car is one that didnt have prewired so I had to stuff all the wires into the center console. Drilled a hole into the nav cubby and thats where the ipod lays. Glad I did it!

Anyways, just to confirm, 03-04 cannot skip tracks through the steering wheel controls and 05-06 can? Seems that the box & cable were designed more around the 05-06 radio.

And if nobody figured out how to ff(i dont think you can rewind), you just press the scan button and when you want it to stop press the track up/down button.

 

where can i get this kit, ive been looking for this thing

 

i know it works with no-sat, but will it work on a non-bose head unit?

I'm not sure about that... I'm thinking as long as it has a SAT in, you should be ok...

Hmm, im not too sure, I think if you use sat radio you get that, but i'm really not sure. I ordered it without the satellite option as I dont subscribe or use sat radio.

 

Your radio must have the ability to accept satellite radio. Your 06 does. If you have a sat tuner, then you need to order the extra $25 cable. If you don't have a sat tuner, just order the kit as it is.

You have sat capability but you don't have a sat button. You have the "radio" button to access sat.

Some 2003and all 2004 and up G's come prewired for sat.

I'm a bit confused. My 2006 G35 Coupe w/ Premium package did not come with Sirius. But the last six digits are well over what you stated. Does this mean I am prewired? Is this a for sure thing?

 

Yes, all the 06's are prewired.
