They work, it's just that I am missing an additional harness and it is too much of a pain in the *** for me to order it, have it shipped to Canada and install it myself. I'd rather just sell these two parts I have now and focus on saving for a body kit

Lots of people have installed it successfully, myself included. It appears as tho his dealership couldn't figure out how to install it and he would rather go in a different direction than a self install. Nothing wrong with that

sorry for being dumb.. I am interested in this kit but want to make sure what do i need...

I have a 04 sedan with SAT and my VIN shows that I am NOT factory prewired

I don't really care if the iPOD is in the trunk or in the front, I don't care if the SAT works or not either (don't plan on getting SAT). May I ask what parts do I need?

Thanks alot everyone, I just want to get the kit that works!

I'm not the expert of the 07 sedan, but if all the 07 sedans have the red/white/yellow connector in the center console, then I'd say pick up the three prong mini-jack cable from an apple store that will output sound and video for the video ipods or just a regular mini-jack to RCA (red/white) cable for the non video ipods.

thx, that does work nicely for audio and video (when parked), but i was looking to see the song titles on the dash screen and control thru steering or center console in addition to hear the sound.

I got an 07 loaner last week and I connected a/v apple connection to the car and I must tell you that the songs do not come up on the screen.

Either, I didn't mess with the G's settings or it won't work at all.

The video does work but the thing you have to put parking brake on in order to see the videos.

The iPod cable on cost me $25 plus tax. So if you don't end up liking it you can return it.

I'm pretty sure all the 07's come with that since the loaner I got for a day was the basic one. and it had the rca inputs.
