Looks like you need three parts:

999U7-VR002 is the iPod adapter box, 999U7-VS000 is the cable from the trunk Sat cable to the iPod adapter, and 999U7-VS001 is the passthrough cable from the iPod adapter to the existing Sat radio.

You are wrong on the part numbers for the harness. You need 999U7-VR003 for the Ipod Gateway kit and you need 2 other harnesses which are Nissan numbers only and they are 999U7-VS004 which is the Ipod harness and 999U7-VS005 is for the SAT connection if you need it. I did one this morning in 45 minutes. Have to remove the radio and the center console. Ipod gateway mounts below the radio and the additional length of harness gets run down the right hand side of the shifter assembly.

Looks like the 999U7-VR003 is a newer version of the iPod Gateway that has become available since jtesensky posted the part numbers earlier in this thread. Not sure about the other ones.

My kit (no Sat) is currently in the mail from EverythingG35, and I can report on it's contents when it arrives.

PatZX300 - Did you by chance take some pics during your install?

I didn't have to remove the center console or radio in my sedan. I just plugged the iPod unit into the sat prewire cable in the trunk using the kit's cable. The sat tuner plugs into the iPod box, and the iPod cable comes out of the iPod box and goes under the rear seat and carpet into the console.

I did a fair amount of looking and couldn't find the answer, so I e-mailed PAC. Here is their reply:

Hi Brian:
At this time we don't have any information about the OEM IPOD link.

Since the PAC AA1-NIS2 uses the same receptavle on the radio, I don't see how they could work together without physically moving them.

Mine came in this afternoon and I installed it this evening. Details are here: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/178829-another-oem-ipod-link-install-pics.html

Looks like they shipped me the 999U7-VR002 and not the 999U7-VR003. I'm curious what the differences are....

From what I can tell they both pass the same signals through and use the same type of connectors. It would appear the iPod link overrides both SR1 and SR2 settings, so it might interfere with the AAI-NIS2 which also uses these.

VR002 is the Nissan IPOD kit and VR003 is the Infiniti IPOD kit. The kit I use connects at the back of the radio, NOT the back of the car. The reason I do this is I have many clients who want to keep SAT. As a result you have to physically disconnect the IPOD to get the SAT back. So unless you want to pull over and unplug your IPOD, it's tough. What I used to do was run cables from the trunk to under the front seats and install the gateway under it. I took a few pics and will post them later.

If you don't have a SAT button, I would think that this will not work.

it will work, you dont nees a sat button, as long as you are pre wired not all 03's are, you use the radio button to get to the ipod

you can still use the one for the back and have the connection on the console, all you have to do is mount the main box under the back seat, im sure its prob easier than taking your radio/part of your dash out

The 03-04 does not have a "Radio" button like the 05-06 sedans and 05-07 coupes. The 03-04 cars have a separate "SAT" button, in addition to Tape, CD, and AM/FM.

Is that what you were referring to?
