how to setup key

1) Get in the car, lock the doors.
2) Insert the key into the ignition, DO NOT TURN IT, and remove it. Do this at least 6 times in 10 seconds...leave the ley in the 6th time you insert it.
3) The hazards will flash
4) Turn the key to "ACC"
5) Push a lock OR unlock button on your remote...the hazards will flash to indicate it picked up that signal, and that remote is programmed.
That remote is done...if you have NO MORE to program, the remove the keys, unlock the door, and open it. Try the remote, it should work fine.
IF YOU HAVE A SECOND REMOTE...the do the following:
6) After step #5, hit the unlock button on the door, then hit the lock button.
7) Now push either the lock OR unlock button on the second remote...the hazards will flash to indicate it picked up the signal, and remote #2 is programmed.

i tried so many times but i'm stuck with 2nd step. Mayb this remote i bought can't program?
For the 2nd step, do i use the remote that i bought or the old one?

so wait are you having problems getting the hazards to blink? itll take a lot of tries. i know i sat there for 5-10 minutes inserting the key in and out until they blinked. if you got passed that part and turned the key into the ACC position but the new keyfob isnt responding, then you should probably check the keyfob battery. might be dead.

so after you putting in and out the key in the key cylinder, you press any button on the new key fob?
