Well, wrather, replaced the Bose amp with a 4 channel alpine amp and ran new RCA's. Can't tell you (you already know tho) how big of a difference it made. Holy crap. My appradios volume control maxes out at 40 and with just the 7551, that was almost loud enough to hear if I was on the Fwy. Really annoying. After putting in the amp, now 7 is about the same loudness as 40 was before. 13 is almost unlistenably loud.
So, now I just need to change out all the speakers and I'm golden.
I do have a question tho:
I was using my fader to make sure all the speakers work and when I put all the power to the rear, there's no sound. As if the rear speakers don't work...? But then when I put it in the middle, I put my ear near the mid and rear speakers and they're working. What gives?

I'll have to check on that. I remember seeing those controls in the settings, but didnt mess with em, so I'll toggle thru those and see if I can't fix it. Weird thing is, I don't know if I'm hearing the rear deck speakers when the faders are centered or just feeling them. They shake like they're on, but I can't really tell if I'm "hearing" them. I'm sure its a setting issue.

Crutchfield is recommending me this harness instead of the PAC ROEM-NIS2 harness listed above, will either one work, or is one recommended over the other?

Thanks. Also is there a difference between the PAC SWI-PS and the PAC SWI-RC steering wheel control modules?

I will be doing a dash install with a full stereo update coming up. Will be adding the AppRadio4 into the car. I may have questions when it comes to the steering wheel control as thats always been a issue for me personally.... I also cant screw up. If I scratch my new carbon fiber dash im gunna be PISSED!!!!

And the video will keep you from scratching any dash parts, if you take your time.

So I'm going to install a chinese android based double din HU on my '06 Coupe with Bose (http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki..._CarPad_NU3001). It has the following outputs:
Outputs: (Some units state 4x25W/28W/50W, this may or may not be true)
RMS output at 14.4V THD 10%:
4x28W @ 4Ω
4x48W @ 2Ω
RMS output at 14.4V THD 1%:
4x22W @ 4Ω
4x38W @ 2Ω
Max output at 14.4V:
4x45W @ 4Ω
4x75W @ 2Ω
Additional Outputs: 1x RCA low-level output. This output is tapped to the front channel.
I'm running front components through a 2 channel amp and bypassing them preamp. I have half a mind to get rid of the bose amp completely, but I don't quite want to get an aftermarket sub just yet. How feasible would it be to hook up rear deck speaker signal wires running to the bose amp directly to the 6x9s and power them through the the HU? Since the HU does not have a dedicated sub output, I would need to add a crossover as well, right? Any downsides to just keeping the bose amp powering the 6x9s until I get a proper sub?
