I'm also confused about the PAC harness connection to the Pioneer harness. The PAC harness has 8 positives (+) and 4 negatives (-) and the Pioneer harness only has 4 positives (+) and 4 negatives (-). How do I connect it?

I just bought a bypass harness on eBay, I didn't feel like making one...All I have to do is tap power (black), remote (blue), and connect the end to the brake (green), correct?

just to clarify: the blue wire with the white stripe and connector from the pioneer wire harness connects to BOTH the blue wire and the blue wire with the white stripe on the ROEM? so, i need to remove the connector? pic of the wire from the pioneer harness is attached.

Thanks.
To clarify again, the blue AND blue/white wires on the PAC harness must be connected together with the blue/white from the Pioneer harness? Basically connecting three wires in one joint??

There's a high-level input positive and low-level input positive for each of the four channels. The four grounds ( - ) get used regardless of which input level you use. The other positive signal wires won't be used.

heres a couple links that may help you out or anyone else that might have the same problem. The first link is my really non detailed radion install in my old GTO, is of a pioneer 3200bt, but theres another link for the relay/bypass that i did. IDK if it will say you have to be signed in, thats why i posted the other link thats just for the relay/bypass

Everything looks correct except the blue wires. The antenna amp requires more power than aftermarket radios provide on the signal wire. You will get very poor FM reception if you try that. Instead, connect the "power antenna" wire to the red main power wire, or you can use the cigarette lighter's power wire.

Thanks for the reply!

So you're saying to connect the solid blue wire from the PAC harness to the solid red wires on the PAC harness, leaving both blue/whites to be there own connection?

OK, appreciate everything you have answered so far!

I hope there is enough room behind my dashboard for double din, Pioneer/PAC harness, antenna adapter, ASWC harness, and bypass harness...!!!

Just did the same install a couple weeks back...best way to get it all to fit is to feed the bypass and PAC, and all your "bulk wire" down behind the little bracket/in the left corner (if you're looking at it from your drivers seat) I fit all mine, plus the extra stuff for NAV and bluetooth, etc.

as for the mute wire, depends if you have navi and bluetooth. usually the mute wire shuts it up when the bluetooth is active
so if you have it why not connect it, it doesnt hurt

Yea, not gonna connect the mute wire...Still wondering how this is all going to fit. So far my wires are pretty clean and I could electrical tape EVERYTHING into one harness, but I don't think there would be enough room.
