I have a 06 coupe with Bose and Sirius Satelite.
I just want to go the easy cheap route and tap the satelite adaptor in the trunk with an Aux cable.
I am still a little confused, where to splice.
Any help will be appreciated.
There's no splicing, you just plug the plug that goes into the satellite receiver into the adapter and the plug from the adapter into the satellite receiver.
Sorry im confused, I just wanted to do option B in the first post.
Ah, thought you were doing just a cheap aux adapter. That location is fine to splice at. I've updated the first post to identify the wires for the different vehicles, but here's the information again:
The factory service manual for the coupe lists pins 33, 34, 35, 36 on the satellite radio adapter harness for the audio signal, and pins 1,2,3,4 for the sedan. The charted numbers are different, but they refer to the same wires on either sedan/coupe harness. They are arranged in a 2x2 square on one side, so they should be easy enough to identify.
The wire colors at the satellite harness for 2003-2004 coupe and 2003-2006 sedan are:
Left+ RED
Left- GREEN
Right+ BLACK
Right- WHITE
The wire colors at the satellite adapter for 2005-2007 coupe are:
Left+ Blue/Green
Left- Blue/Yellow
Right+ Orange/Blue
Right- White/Blue
The wire colors at the M90 harness at the back of the factory radio are:
Left+ RED
Left- GREEN
Right+ BLACK
Right- WHITE

Am I missing the cheap aux adapter or is it just USA spec that connects in the back?
I got my USB3 from GROM about 4 days ago but havent had the time to install. Any ideas on where to put the GROM box? Where to run wires? Only thing I hate is that the cables are too long. Wish they had cable length options.

Well, the USA SPEC one is cheaper than others, but the "zero-cost" method is just wiring a 3.5mm jack to send an analog signal along the same wires that the satellite radio sends its signal. It requires that you have a satellite radio adapter.
Hello all, just recently joined the G35 family .
I have an 03 coupe with the bose system.
It has the SAT button on the radio. I located the satellite harness (white connector) in the trunk.
However, after reading through the comments I am still a little confused as to whether I can or can not add a direct iPod interface adapter. I was wanting to use the PA15-INFI as it had the satellite connection in the trunk. But I saw in the comments that the early 03 g35's were not compatible with any interface other than an fm modulator or cassette adapter. It was my understanding that as long as I had the SAT button and pre-wired connections I could add the iPod adapter.
Can someone please clarify this before I go spending money? Thanks
You've got to be a lot more specific, removing the radio is covered in the DDin installation guide - https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html - everything else is more or less plugging the adapters into the back of the radio.
Hello, I have a 2004 g35 sedan and I'm just looking for an aux port. I have the satellite harness in the trunk but I dont have a satellite box. Can I still use the pa15-infi or do I need to get a satellite box as well? Thanks!
Edit/// Nevermind i found out I don't need the receiver, just the harness.
