Selling Sirius Sat

I'm selling mine, just got it about a month back and it still has 2 months of free subs.

Reason for sale, I thought I would be commuting a long way, but with the new job, I'm only 10 min away, so can't justify the monthly subscription.

Its a month old Sirius bought from Grubbs, with the Terk low profile antenna, paid about 360$ for it, please send me reasonable offers if interested, thanks.

I guess no one is looking for one. The Curious thing is that when I got it last month, I had to wait a week since they were out of stock due to high demand.. go figure

I might be interested. You'll have to excuse my ignorance however. Is this the same as the factory unit or aftermarket? I have a 04 sedan and was quoted about 800 bucks to have it put in.

This is the factory sat sirius reviever with the smaller, better antenna. It pluggs right into the sat cable if you have it in the trunk, with no wires cut. You can see the unit on grubbsperformance.com.
IF you have to cut wires, then that's probably why you should have it installed. If all you do is plug the sat wire in your trunk to this sat receiver, then you dont have to pay 800 bucks to do it, your being ripped off. Just buy the reciver and install yourself like I did, the dealre quoted me the same thing, and I said screw you

So this unit is stored in the trunk (assuming I have the sat-plug) right? Where is the plug located? What about power to the reciever? Sorry, I really know nothing about these.

I found more information on another forum. If my car does indeed have the plug I will consider buying it. I have an 04 sedan auto with sport/prem but no nav or sat..obviously.

Look in your trunk, have to open a panel in left side of your trunk, next to the spare. If you see a white colored pugg, you are in luck.

ALso, does your dash radio have the sat button? If yes, then again you most likely have it, but either way, look into trunk.
The sat wire powers everything, very easy install. Do a search, you will find tons of info. ALos check out 6mt.net, also good info there if you search. I think there was a DYI in the DYI section.

I do have the sat button. I did take out the spare but did not see the wiring harness. I guess I will have to dig a little deeper. Should it be located in the same place as the coupe? I ask this because I did see the a DYI article on the coupe.

TO the left of the spare, there is a compartments that needs to be unscrewed and be taken out. there you should see sat wires. I am sure there are tons of pics if you do search, sorry I don';t have the links.
