word of advice guys...never put your stock springs back on and leave your spring mounts cut. Your tires will be eaten up. My falken 452s that only have 3000 miles are now completely bald. I didn't have time to order the new spring mounts and now I have to get new tires.
Just thought I would add this to the thread, just in case there's other dumbasses like me.

Another word of advice. Carefully measure and cut the springmount, give it some padding maybe quarter inch. My front and rear is so dead even that just a slightly slope surface makes my rear look saggy.

And you cut how much? 1/2 inch? So your saying we should probably cut 1/4 or a 1/3 of an inch?

Every car will be different, some people even cut 1 inch.

Why?

I am running stock springs and cut spring mounts. My tires aren't eaten up.

You sound like you have an alignment issue.

1/2" is perfect for 350z h-tech is you use the correct tire size

Has nothing to do with the mounts DIY.

+1 I had my stocks put back on with 350Z S Techs, 20/25mm spacers, & .5" cut on the springmounts with out any issues at all. Sounds to me like you cut the springmounts and did not get an alignment to make up for the drop.

I am going to be running a 275/35/19 in the rear. Would you consider that a correct tire size for 1/2" cut to the spring mount?

If you are using a 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 in the front, then yes

I did the rsm on my z htechs and did it again after putting in my z stechs. Teins don't drop the rear enough.

That would be an alignment problem, not the springmount being cut.

I don't think you need a rsm with those, only the Z springs. The spring rates on the G S-Techs are horrible.
