I bought and installed the Eibach Pro-kit a few weeks back. The front sat down really nice. Will need a camber kit tho. But the back rose a 1/2 inch and still has not settled down. I was thinking about cutting the spring 1/2 of a loop. Is that a good idea? Would like some thoughts.

Generally, I don't think it's a good idea to cut springs. I would check to make sure they are installed correctly because it should not have lifted you at all.

Double Check install... Cutting springs is not advised.

Also a impact wrench or air tools can be used with spring compressor

Cutting stock springs is not the best idea im not sure about cutting aftermarket springs though

good write up.... how long would you estimate the spring change took? and are coupes having to run a camber kit for the tein s-techs....

The rears take about 15minutes and the fronts about 30 per side...
You might be ok without a camber kit but it is up to your personal style.

good deal.... seems simple... i plan on doing this in the next couple weeks... will check into the camber kit as well.... thanks

Any tips for preventing the shock piston shaft from spinning while trying to disassemble the strut??

I had held it in place with a pair of channel locks. Hope that helps.
