Prokit or 350Z H-tech ? PICS please

after hours of reading and searching,i see everybody on this site prefer the 350z over anything else(including the prokit), why is it better and for an everday daily driver , which has a more comfortable ride.

would you need camber kits for those? ive heard ppl saying they need camber kits etc and others who say an alignment will do. are you running camber kits, and is alignment all you need to do if no camber kits are needed? thx

this was a very helpful thread when i decided to go 350z h techs

look at the pics. one of them compares stock springs to the g35 h techs side by side. g35 h techs are a much more conservative drop but you can already tell how much nicer the car looks with g35 h techs. itll look even better with 350z h techs

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...techs+pictures

cambers are not needed

thanks for the help man, the side by side comparison shows what the drop looks like, and most of all the back of the car does'nt appears to be sagging...
i still dont get all this talk about progressive and linear springs but as long as it drives and handles well, then its H-TECH

Linear springs are designed so that the entire length of the spring has the same load rating. Progressive springs are designed to have several load ratings over the length of the spring.

Progressive springs use a combination lower and higher spring rates to achieve the level of travel and ride comfort vs. performance tradeoff that they desire.

In racing applications, the need for ride comfort provided by a progressive spring, may be outweighed by the need for increased performance. When this happens a linear spring is used.

^^hope that stuff helps..

I was also thinking about getting H-techs but only thing that is holding me back is the uneven wear for the tires. As you all know tires arent cheap, even with our OEM 19. So to clarify the fraustration, Does H-tech for 350z require camber kit and will the rear settle down more after couple of weeks? I really need your inputs on these issues so please help the fellow G driver out.

you shouldnt have to worry about uneven tire wear with 350z htechs. the drop is very conservative. most people dont get camber kits for 350z h techs.

Thx what about the height issue for the rear of the car. It seems uneven on the pic on the link. Will it settle more or it will stay like that. Anyone has differnt input on this?
