Many people have replaced the bushing and problem is resolved.

It's the inside bushing that often goes bad...
Great! If now only someone made some long lasting bushings that can last for a decent amount of years as opposed to a couple or a few. I wouldn't mind spending a coin on tougher bushings since it'll be A LOT cheaper to buy them instead of some compression rods. Right?

Do any other manufacturers engineer their suspension this stupid? It is just plain ignorant to have a freeking bushing wear out this quickly or make this kind of noise. I know Ford F-150's used to have squeeky bushings/suspensions but for a car of this level to have this kind of problem is beyond me.

Exactly! When people buy these cars new for 35K+ they don't buy cheap squeaky and rattling cars. Sure the car drives amazingly smooth, but what's the point if it makes noises???

Honestly if I knew better I would of went for an M series. Not sure what their problems are as they might use the same parts. Its a tisk tisk on Infiniti's part.

There are various other aftermarket bushings - some poly... but not compressions rods.
Who sells the poly ones... it would seem to be a much better deal than a return to rubber at probably for not more than $50 for both bushings.

I'm thinking maybe some bolts aren't tight enough, but this somewhat sounds similar to what your described. Please update when you get more work done.
I will she goes back under the knife tomorrow, I'm thinking there is nothing else but the UCA's and it's knocking in that area, got my fingers crossed Taking the the tech on a test ride with me to make sure he understands the noise complaint. Will let you know more soon!

Maybe we can get energy suspension to make us some poly bushings, or they have a generic size that fits? They are in San Clemente.

I'm sure they could. I've used Energy stuff on my old maxima. But I'm pretty sure you'd have to give them a new bushing for each one you wanted done. Considering the prices from Whiteline, there's a good chance Energy could be competitive or even lower.

Whoa..I just finished reading every single post haha. I just had coilovers and sway bars installed about a month and a half ago, and I'm just starting to get this "clunk/crack noise" that can be felt on the floor when going over uneven surfaces or when there's weight transfer from left to right. It's not a "squeak" like what most of you guys have said that has something to do with the compression rod.

I'm guessing it could be my end links or the sway bar fittings needing to re-greased. Any suggestions? I don't want to jump the gun and by new compression rods. Thanks in advance!

I replaced my front and rear end links. Still experience a rumbling through the floor, gas pedal, and possibly even through the steering wheel when I go over cracks.

Local dealer which sells Infiniti and Mercedes Benz states that bad local road conditions in the the northern parts of the US do a number on the Mercedes Benz radius arms/ bushings as well. The problem is so bad that they always keep a surplus of radius arms in stock for both brands.

Well I just picked it up, Felt a lot better going over speed bumps didn't hear the knocking. BUT now when driving accelerating and slightly hit the breaks it pops some times multiple times, it is on the right side from what i can tell.

They stated the replaced the driver side sway bar bushing, good luck with yours. I should of bought after market suspension vs extended warranty

I got the pops as well. Came back after a few months since both compression rods were replaced.

It just seems that, THE MORE YOU ENGINEER AND REENGINEER A CAR AFTERMARKET, THE MORE PROBLEMS YOU'LL HAVE DOWN THE LINE. Not worth it seems in most cases-- unless you have cash to burn, time, another car, or simply need a car that looks and sounds good no matter the cost!

My question is, how do cars pass inspection with the oversized wheels and drops. In PA, it's a red flag. I got pulled over b/c my car had a tiny blue LED (nearly invvisible), last week.
