anyone tried swapping the g37 brakes onto an 06 coupe?

The G37 brake calipers appear to be much thicker than even the Brembo calipers on the 03-04 G35's. If the mounting points are the same, you may have wheel clearance issues. But we really won't know for sure until someone tries it.
You'll need to wait for a G37 owner to get a BBK (once the G37 kits become available) or get a set from a wrecked G37. Buying them from the dealer would be cost prohibitive.

The rotor diameter and thickness is where the difference will lie.
Then you also have to worry about which rotors to use in there.
My biggest concern wouldn't be the fronts, but the rears.
Let's say the G37 calipers bolt on directly to the G35 coupes.
Now, which rotors do you use?
The G37 or the G35?
G35 rotors may be too small, which means you're screwed no matter what.
G37 rotors may not clear the drum brakes on the G35.
If neither option works you'll need custom rotors.
Mucho dinero there.
Better off going with an aftermarket kit at that point.
