^^^ This batch is no longer available, but if you can get a group of people together then Scott will make another batch.

^3 to 4 pages prior lol. People probably just don't have this installed yet. Installation is kind of intensive for a strut tower bar.

I mean i can take pics of just the bar but you can see those a couple pages back anyways. im going to install it in a few hours and i'll be sure to post pictures up.

Does anyone know the torque specifications for the bolt we replace for the control arm?

nevermind, found it in the DIY. heres the link again for that DIY so some people wont have to search through the pages of this thread.

hey beebo, does your bar sit higher on the passenger side than the driver side?
I have placed the brackets on the bolts to check the fitment and it looks like my driver side bracket is not aligning with the bracket on the passenger side...if that makes any sense.

Ill take off my stock air box and try it later today
im going to call Scott with a question on the welds.
How are the welds on your bar?

My welds look good to me but here is a picture of what im talking about.
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/AmFF6Lzd8paAOYrJUMgGmA?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_EDb1cJHu1bk/Sb6qbUjHBYI/AAAAAAAAAIA/ek6ASnhLr_Y/s800/DSC_1104.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/Robbie.Pearson/RAStrutBar?feat=embedwebsite">RA Strut Bar</a></td></tr></table>
This is with the brackets placed over the bolts to simply check the fitment before i go and lift the car up to get that extended control arm bolt in there. As you can see, the driver side sits much lower and it seems the bracket is also cocked the side a bit. Click on the picture to go to the album to see more pictures and to zoom in to see what im talking about.
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/yJ8t557NVMbZMZFCqVJgKg?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_EDb1cJHu1bk/Sb6qV725duI/AAAAAAAAAHc/dxnPZW2ivJw/s800/DSC_1098.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/Robbie.Pearson/RAStrutBar?feat=embedwebsite">RA Strut Bar</a></td></tr></table>
From the picture above, you can see how the bracket on on the driver side does not line up with the passenger side bracket.
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/4p7NOmgX2wcItN2VxeD02Q?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_EDb1cJHu1bk/Sb6qXF9fjNI/AAAAAAAAAHs/Xxsw7qQqN2o/s800/DSC_1102.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/Robbie.Pearson/RAStrutBar?feat=embedwebsite">RA Strut Bar</a></td></tr></table>
and that is the result when the bar is placed on there and i put the bolt through one side. its cocked to the side and it doesn't look like it will line up. Things might be different once i actually bolt everything down but i was honestly hoping for better fitment than that...

yeah I figured that, left a message earlier today about torque specifications but no call back yet. Was hoping for some input from people who already have the bar installed. does their bar fit flat in the engine bay? or is it slightly angled?
