newbe looking for help with d2 coilovers

I have set of d2 coilovers that I installed but car is not lower than stalk. I have tryed to ajust or lower to get 1 or 1.5 drop but the rear does not lower without compressing spring, to have more room to shorten shock. all info I have read and seen is youtub said do not compress spring to lower car. any help would help please.

huh? are you raising the car up on jacks to take pressure of the springs? you should have two collars on the shock body, just move those down to lower the car. there is no need to compress the spring

I dont have room to rotate the bottom body up because it is already toching the top. again I can turn the bottom body to rase and make coilover longer or bigger but I have turned it all the way to where it tuches the top rings and made it suppos the shortest but still no dropp. If the bottom tub was cut a cupple of ench it would work perfect to rotate and get the drop.

can you post a pic of where you are adjusting the coilover? you said you adjusted the "body", it should be adjusted by the "collars or perches". i think your adjusting it the wrong way

I am about to go and ajust I will try and take pict and post in about an hour. My coilovers have spring the body and the bottom boot so I titen the spring up by hand and a little turn. than what ever gap I have in the body I turn the bottom boot up to make complet coilover as short or small as possib I put it on the flor and messure its about 19.25 from flor to top plat not damper. I do not leave any body gap. thats why I say if bottop part was 2 each smaller it would be perfect.
