They look identical to the $60 eBay ball joints.

$60 Taiwan Ebay

$250 Megan Ebay

Ichiba upper control arms look like Cusco and there's a substantial difference.

But Cusco will last.

Same situation applies here. And. Megan is in the USA which will make the transaction better. Warranties will more than likely go better too...

What ball joints do you have now? The boot which seems to be the failure point is the same on each ball joint.

Transaction better? I paid through PayPal and received them from Taiwan 1 week later. Warranty? One year...it will take me one year to want to remove the busted ball joint.

I sold the car.

However, the ball joints were trash. And they wanted me to remove the ball joints from the car, pay for international shipping(which is $$$) AND wanted me to wait 4-6 weeks before they decide to refund, send new ones, or ship old ones back.

No thanks.

That sucks...my350z is looking into Energy suspension boots. I will post a link to the part when I find it there. I think that is what I'm going to do.

Any other problems with the eBay ball joints other than ripped boot?

They were too long. Had to add washers on top of the control arm to keep the castellated nut from shanking on the cone part of the shaft.

Update: The eBay ones are trash. Don't buy them. They are very poor quality. Going to see if I can buy the spindle for a good price instead.

moto_za, what was wrong with them?

I don't think I'm going to use the eBay ones I bought. I would also like to see a better alternative.

Thanks for the link. I would honestly just pay $100 more and buy the whole two front arms instead:

understandable...

But if you're lowered at all, those stock balljoints will eventually give you the same problem.

The moonface ones are pretty legit.
