Any one replace their lower ball joints?
My car has been making some extremely clunking sounds over bumps as well as creaking sounds. They were subtle for about two years. After I installed the Whiteline lower arm and SPL compression rod bushings, and lower the car with Bilstein shocks and Z springs, the clunking became more severe. It would also creak extremely loudly when I turn the wheel.
I will be replacing the ball joints in hope to eliminate some of those noises.

Anyone can post some links of where you can buy this product ?

I took my 04 G35 Coupe with 46,000 miles in for an oil change today and was told I need the driver's side ball joint. The tech mentioned it was not just the ball joint is connected to the spindle. The cost for the part is around $400. Thank God for my extended warranty. No cost. Zero deductable. How long before the passenger side goes?

re: worn balljoint symptom
I didn't know I needed the balljoint until the tech saw the grease coming from the boot. I had no unusual front end noises.
What if the ball joint is not visually leaking...what type of driving symptoms would it have?
I am currenlty changing my compression rod including the 2 balljoint at each end of the rod.
I am wondering I saw on one of my current balljoint the one closer to the motor who got a stud going from one end to another. It seems it got some stuff in it to prevent the rod from moving inside and to be tight inside of the balljoint. I guess it isn't some general purpose grease right? looks like rubber foam who thicken when cool down.
what should I put inside of the cylinder if I want my stud to be stable and without any noise coming from the stud rubbing on the cylinder?
I dunno if it's clear but thanks anyways.

I will have to get one too.
What I hear in my car is a loud humming every time I go past 40mph. When I brake very slow I'll get a clinking sound. And it stop humming when I do a slight left turn.
I took the car to a shop they told me I need to buy the whole arm. ( right now I'm confused if they are compression rods)
Now I know I only need to buy the ball joints for 60$ on bay and get greasy. That I relief after hearing I needed to change both of them for $600.
