Lol only like 200 miles. Only thing I notice with them is you need to use washers below the castle nut to make the ball joint shaft seat.

Any pictures on how you took them out. I tried to take mine out this morning end up putting things back together, i couldn't get it out. What year is your G35?
I took some pictures of the ball joint, old and the new one.

floor jack & jack stands
needle nose pliers
ball joint press (rent from autozone & advanced auto parts for $100)
ratchet or breaker bar..i think a 19 socket
may need ball joint separater

remove snap ring with needle nose :

unscrew top of balljoint and use jack to lift and separate control arm

use the balljoint separator to remove

how it looks on new ball joint:

out with the old

in with the new

Are you sure the quality would be the exact same? Because a lot of big companies outsource to China/Taiwan, but there's usually a big difference in quality because of the standards that they have to stand by and it would justify the difference in price too wouldn't it?

It'd be cool if there were more reviews of people who bough the Megan racing ones because I might just buy those in the end.

Got quoted around $550 or so to get both arms replaced

Still wondering about the Megan ball joint adjusters. You can get those for maybe under $200 or I can get the whole arm on both sides for around $360 new from the dealer. Not sure what should do.

Im going through the same problem on my 04 coupe. Its been lowered on eibach springs, I just installed kinitex front camber arms as well. When I tried to take the lca off the balljoint the nut and shaft kept spinning. I guess I'll have to cut the boot to be able to grab the balljoint shaft to keep from spinning. I will be buying the ebay ball joints I guess but didn't really want to wait a week Any help or tricks on getting the nut off the ball joint would be helpful. Again, the entire nut and shaft are spinning together..

Found a solution!

Alright I'm going to order a set of Duralast OEM ball joints. I have more confidence in those and also they're like half the price of the Megan ones.
This is the link to order them
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...mString=search

Free shipping on orders over $75 plus put in the code: AZ1520 and it'll give you a 15% discount off the total price.
That brings the total to $124.54 for me after taxes.

Just finished..well sorta. At the start of this install my plan was to replace lower control arm bushings, and compression rod bushing only bc the ball joint on both sides looks good. I ended up having to order 2 new ball joints for the lca because both were crap. Ordered the ebay ones and then found out about a shop called turbo toys here in Tampa that carry all used/new parts for 350s and g35s, they literally have everything you could possibly need.

Anyways, luckily he had a like new oem ball joint and another new one made by some german company that he sells to all his customers with no problems. If anyone here wants the name PM me and I'll find out (can't find package at the moment). Funny part about this whole thing was the previous owner put on 2 different lower control arms. The driver side was the original 02-04 that requires the ball joint with a 22mm nut. On the passenger side it was from an 05 and up which uses a 19mm nut. All is well except on the underbody frame (the one that has 4 bolts and 2 nuts, that holds in the compression rod). Every bolt came out with ease until I got to the last little 14mm bolt on the passenger side...The bolt head rounded off so I couldn't take the frame off to replace the compression rod bushings. Bummer!

Sorry for the paragraph, figured everyone would get a kick out of my experience. If anyone here has any questions on the bushing install or ball joints, let me know; I will help as much as I can.

Oh, and make sure you save the metal ball joint shaft cover! Its the cone shaped one on top of the ball joint when it releases from the knuckle.
