Its a universal air set up, not vehicle specific so basically you have to 'make it work' with your vehicle.

Quote: I personally dont like the UAS system because you are cutting up your OEM struts or shocks to get them to work. There are lots of companies out there offering kits that completely replace your OEM struts/springs so that installation time is cut in half and headaches are gone! Here is a pic below of our kit along with a G35 running it.

This kit runs $3932 its our Pro Plus. You can also achieve the same ride height with our Deluxe kit that will run you $3060.

I'd love to have your set up but its just way too much for my budjet one of the reason I mention UAS bags is because I am already sitting on a coilovers and UAS bags offers a slip on kind and its a price friendly

'make it work' is hardly the same thing as 'cutting up your OEM struts and shocks'. the front bags slip on over your struts and the rears sit in the OEM spring perch.

True, I guess I was speaking more in general since they would go on many other applications.

But you are correct.

Imo a water trap is a must, just compressing the air heats it up and once it cools you are introducing moisture into the tank/valves/bags.

Quote: Whats the longest anyone here has been on air?

It's been just a few short months and maybe 1000 miles on mine and already having issues. Maybe I don't drive it enough?? Only about 1500 miles per year.

My valves are sticking. I can air up just fine, can hardly get it to go down.

Is there too much water in the line? Water trap needed in Texas? We did use teflon tape even though I told my guy repeatedly not to use it.

I'm about to switch back to a cup kit... I don't want reliability issues.
two years and somewhere between 15-20,000 miles. my valves started sticking earlier this year...UAS recommended that i remove the slow downs and see if they were clogged. once i removed a bit of the dirt clogging the slowdowns the problem went away. i'd start there, then move on to cleaning out the valves.

Quote: Yeah I bought different exhaust valves for mine that were adjustable. I undid them all the way. Still sticks, but when it lets lose now it slams to the ground, so I guess it's nothing to do with that part. Only the passenger side is having an issue. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend!

I'll give it one more shot before cup kits on all corners this time... lol
If u sell ur air pm me how much...

subscribing to this thread. good information here. I'm surprised no one has come up with a step-by-step DIY. I've never dealt with air suspension before, only springs and coils, but lately I have been thinking about attempting this. I am an avid DIY'er, so it would be nice to tackle this project on my own. If anyone has step-by-step installs, pics, or even video, that might be helpful for noobies such as myself.

I'm on the ridetech airpod 3 gallon kit with D2 coils and bags. I love this setup and it was very easy to install. Took me about 5 1/2 hour for the complete install using jacks and hand tools. Everything on the airpod comes preplumbed and prewired. It only has 3 electrical connections and 4 air connections. It comes with a full digital controller and hook ups for e-level.

Question for those that do not have a management system (e-level). How do you control the ride height when airing up to get in a driveway? I would think you can set all the corner heights and then just use the raise/lower switch so all 4 corners go up together. I can see this being a headache but I am trying to sell myself on the idea that I would not need to spend another $1000 for some type of management system.
