a nonsense bump then a link to a one year old thread that's already been bumped recently???

Really?

WTF is going on in this thread? Congrats to those that searched and found it - but you don't get brownie points for worthless posting just to bump it.

BTW, to the noobs that think it's no big deal - it seems not, but for those that are subscribed to the thread its worthless to get updates for nothing - and it clutters the new threads that have current value.... IOW, search, read, learn, and leave it alone.

I have the SAME problem that annoys the **** out of me. It's a very bad creak/clunk/squeek noise when i either turn left/right at slow speeds, go over SMALL bumps or even a little bit when i start accelerating.

When i bought the car i was told that it was a ball joint wear and not to worry about it for a few months, so a few months on and the clunk is absolutely horrible and i can't stand it. Took the car into Nissan a few weeks ago and was told by the HEAD MECHANIC to take it to the Panel Beaters (Australian smash repairs) to get the compression rod bush/nut fixed which is so incorrect. I'm not going back there so i have managed to find a friend of a friend that knows Suspension very well and has a press so he's going to put new comp rod bushings in and hopefully it will fix the problem.

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to replace the ball joint & control arm bushes while he's already doing the comp rod bushes just so i get extra life out of everything?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have similar squeak/creak at low speeds. Last time I had a car make that sound the front strut mounts were bad. I think this is what many are dealing with. All other parts that have been known to make noises have been changed. Compression rod bushing had the tiniest tear on one side. Rubber on rubber would not make that noise.

mine does a squeaking while taking big speed bumps (as in longer ones) or when taking an inclined bump like when entering my driveway. I already changed both front lower control arms and the noise is still there, it seems to be coming from the left on the front suspension. The car makes the noise at exactly 10 seconds in the video.

Hi Everyone,

I drive an '06 G35x sedan and just noticed a squeeking/knocking sound come from my passenger rear tire over the weekend. So far from what I've read in this forum it looks like it could be the following:

- rear sway bar end link
- ball joint
- dust shield
- loose lug nuts

Has anybody found the actual source of the problem? I'm bringing my car into NIssan for service on Saturday to get looked at (my friend's a mechanic a the local dealership). If anyone can provide any feedback before then I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Trying to catch up on all this noise making to see if it's the same as mine a lot to read but good stuff for once. When I come to a slow or any stop I hear a pop from my driver side. Or when I turn into a parking spot then straighten the wheels it will pop. Does that sound like the same subject been going on for a good time

Creaking noise. Help!

Anyone have ideas where this noise is coming from? I just replaced my steering knuckle ball joint, lower control arms are fairly new, rotors and pads as well. The noise is more noticeable when making slow turns. It's not a squeaking sound (like what I seen on forums, it's more of a creaking noise. Could this be bad sway links?
Here's a link to my video. Thank you.

05 G35, 76Kmiles with body creaking noise

Just lately my car is making a creaking noise as a body or suspension worn bushing. It seems its more pronouned during body flexing.Threads mention a compression rod bushing. Is there a way to test it with out taking everthing apart? Is replaceing the bushing with a polyurethane bushing feasible or get an aftermarket entire arm assembly? Any Ideas or suggestions welcomed..Thanks in advance.
