Hey everyone.

Just read this post and I have experienced a creaking sound but its different from what most people here are describing.

The sound from car comes just once.
It is similar to metal being twisted.
Lasts about 2 seconds and happens regardless of the height of the car or how much the steering is turned.

It seems like its speed based and occurs at a certain speed.

It doesnt occur until the car is switched of and started again.
Once it starts rolling then the sound occurs again.

I have no idea what it is.
I will try and record a sound clip if possible.
But until then has someone else experienced this noise.

replace compression rod fixed the clunking noise. the ball joint has a little play, almost unnoticeable.

I just had the compression rods replaced after 7 years and 53,000 miles so from what I see I was lucky. They did advise an alignment too.

I just changed my suspension for a true coilover setup, but now I'm hearing some noise that is driving me crazy. It only happens when I brake and sounds like something is rubbing or touching the brake, kinda sounds like the muffler is touching the floor. And another noise comes from the left side and is a clinking noise when I step on the clutch. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Sounds like the ABS self check which is completely normal. Search "ABS self check" or "ABS test" and you'll find others' descriptions of the sounds like this one https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...eleration.html

Is the TSB only for sedans?
I have a coupe!
I also heard the compression rods and bushing can be covered under warranty and I am at 60K miles with an extended warranty. Does anyone know which extended warranty from infiniti I need or does it not matter?
