Look into the praxis air suspension. Its actually similar to a coilover setup.

- It does just what you want. It moves the car up and down (all at once) just for this purpose, low for the track high for the street.

has what ur looking for kind of. It's not exactly cheap though. I was thinking about doing this to mine but I won't think about doing it if it's not going to give me good ride quality and handling. The shocks are 4 way adjustable but I don't know how it's going to handle. I'm in the same boat as you. I wish there was coilovers that could raise the car with the push of a button.

I know all the new Lambos, Enzo, Ruf's use a suystem where you can raise and lower the front end for driveways, bumps, etc. I'm sure it is available to you if you had it custom made at a scary price!

IMHO that car does not look "tite" in that shot. It looks ridiculous in that low stationery position, like the supsension is broken from being squashed from some heavy object.

So I guess the kind of suspension I'm looking for isn't out there below $3000?

Fair point. The concept of dropping it to the level you want is great. That photo was just too over the top to me.

I don't know much about air suspensions so can't help with the cost estimate.

Good luck with it.

The air runner system will probably run you close to 3500-4500 for just parts....installation will be a good thousand or so for a quality job. Ya it's not exactly cheap.
