No I didn't. I know the understeer should be marginally greater, but I feel the car "plows" less. I can't explain it, but I luv it.

Oooops my bad....
Must have been having a brain cramp.

It makes sense that.....
your sensation of oversteer increased, since the turn in felt quicker.

I would suspect that over/under is really not impacted much,
but the sensation of more oversteer is due the suspension maintaining it's calibration better under load.

Wa2good,
Hey where are you guys located in SD? Great job on the STB. I may have to give up some cash for this mod eventually.

Was wondering the same thing...

I had a look at the mounting point behind the OEM air box.
Any chance you have a pic of the revised mount?
I can't picture how that's going to fit....

Umfortunately, most people who have ordered and have installed this brace on their car do not frequent message boards.

Anybody with an 06 coupe have this strut bar installed yet??? I have a performance shop in my area that has one and I just saw it today and it is very solid so i'm probably going to go for that as the cost is significantly lower.

Received and installed my VRT Front Strut Bar yesterday. It is a tight install with a few choice words thrown in. There isn't a lot of room and removing shock/spring assemblies isn't for the faint of heart. The instructions are written with the experienced enthusiast in mind, who has done this type of work before. (torque specs would have been nice)

I've driven the car around town and at the track and unfortunately it was a lousy day with semi wet conditions, so I was unable to really push it. Overall, I noticed a difference .... the car just seems to be tighter and more responsive in the corner. Unfortunately I can't compare my times to my last track day, due to the track conditions.

The quality is very good and once again a real heads up for another great VRT product. Now if I could find the $$ for a motor rebuild and a JWT TT

Thanks again Scott!
