No, Pro Series is just what we call our high performance line of parts. This is just a different designed cross bar for the Stillen SC, the mounts are the same.

stupid question, but would your STB accomplish the same thing as sway bars? If so I would be very interested since there are no sway bar applications for the G35X. assuming this fits the X?

strut bar with APS TT

any idea if either of these bars will fit a G with an APS TT? The drive side bracket looks pretty close to were the APS BOV sits.

STB is actually, IMHO, for chassis stiffening more than it is for suspension purposes although it does complement it by allowing the suspension to do more of what its meant to do... so NO, it does not accomplish the same thing as sway bars...

sway bars affecting suspension and stb affect chassis flex...

Can anyone besides the person trying to sell these to us confirm that this does actually SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVE handling? I would like to hear an unbiased opinion backed with proof. Dont reply with "oh its better because my butt dyno told me so". To my understanding, yes strut bars CAN increase structural rigidity under extreme torsion but to decrease lateral sway, you get a sway bars and increase spring rates. 400 bucks seem like alot of money to be spending on aperformance part that has little to no performance value.. cosmetic maybe... maybe if the VRT badge was removable... I wonder why Carbing or Cusco dont make it for our cars..... don't you?

400 bucks for that thing with the max pressure point INCHES above the attachment? ????

How about for 75 bucks you can get a LOWER strut bar from GT spec and do wonders. Independent (we hope) reviews are in a nearby thread under Reviews.Apparently handling and feel are much improved. You can get 3 bars and a 4 point chassis brace as well. 400 bucks is a joke

Good question. I am also worried about the APS Plenum. Scott, does it work on APS products. Also, can you order it not powder coated? If I order one, I would like to paint it myslef. Please shoot me a PM with a price. Thank you.

Yes a bare metal (raw) STB can be sold to you as well (-$50), that way you can finish it in any color that you want. As long as you still put the "VRT Pro Series" sticker back on it LOL (Thanks)

The way I designed this brace is to accomadate any plenum, or plunum spacer for that matter. The APS is not a problem for fittment, as it goes in front of the plenum. There was some fittment issues on some of the cars that are retaining the stock air intake box, etc. But I am confident that these issues were resolved.

I am still working out any potiential problems that might hinder the way this STB will fit on an APS TT equipped car. Any pics of the BOV area would help.

I like the design of ARC Titanium Strut Bar better, IMHO. This one is sitting too far from the center point of the front wheels.

But you can't use the ARC with a modified plenum. For the "Z", there are many STBs that sit in the same place as the VRT, that satisfy that need. In any event, I'll be installing my VRT STB next week, and will report back.

Thanks Lou, and very true about the ARC brace.

ekwc The ARC brace is very nice 'looking", but unfortunately, from an engeniering standpoint it leaves a lot to be desired as far as functionality .
