I have almost 75K miles on her now. The Sport Tuned Suspension went on at about 25K miles, slightly used. Springs and shocks always wear out...
They are a wear and tear item, so I know they will need changing within another 25-50K miles. But that's OK, I will go with a more performance suspension next time.

I just got the front bar from performace nissan. That was a mistake. They seem to want to sell a part but not support it. 3 emails and no info. I got the bar,a sticker and 2 washers...nothing else. How do I attach the front lower bar? Do I just remove the nuts and slide the bar on and tread the nuts back on? It seems like it would work but I want to know what everyone else did. I would also like to know if anyone else has gotten such bad treatment from performance nissan..they SUCK big time.

Yes, IQ9, that's exactly how you install it. Use the supplied washers on top of the bar before re-installing the nut. It's pretty simple install. Just make sure the GT SPEC logo is right side up

Ok guys, I had them installed today! Here are the pics as promised. Along with me, there was a 350z that had the undercarrage brace installed. enjoy!
ASAA Racing put my G35 Sedan up on the lift first... Then the 350Z drove under my G to the lift in front! Man was I freaked!

There was very little clearance between the front bar and the oil drain plug.
But I'm sure a box end wrench will remove the plug.

Meanwhile,,,the 350Z was having the under body brace installed. It looks like it will fit our G35s! That is the HKS exhaust on the 350Z. The 350Z was turbo charged and the owner claimed it posted 450 WHP on the mustang dyno! Sweet....

Now the rear bar! I wish I had waited for the Red Stillen sway bars! The gold/mustard does not look near as good as the red would have... OH well Note the coupe mid-pipe!

The drive home had no good roads to test the new bars on.... But she felt a bit tighter. I need to take my G on our BBQ run roads west of Houston where I will be able to really evaluate the results. The initial impression is good!

so, let's see if i can sum this up.

there are no clearance issues that i could see from the pics. the install should be very easy. this is cheap, and it firms up the chassis. did i miss anything?

cato, thank you very much for the review. can you post where you bought this thing? - URL? i found this:

http://www.partshippers.com/index.ph...roducts_id=798

but sure if it's exactly the same thing. what is this, then?

http://www.partshippers.com/index.ph...roducts_id=799

thanks again! that G-over-Z photo is funny.

Read my posts carefully! I called GTSPEC and inquired about buying direct. Ken, The sales manager, told me that I should be able to buy 10% cheaper thru my local distributor. In Houston, that is ASAA Racing, where I indeed got a 10% discount.

Looks like we can look forward to messy oil changes as the front bar is in the path of the oil. Thanks for the update on how to install the bar. Performance sent me an email to let me know what the tracking number should be...that would be a response to my 1st email last thursday....clowns

I recommend having professionals do the install. I'm glad I did! It cost me $55 for ASAA RAcing to install the bars. Well worth the money IMHO....

Good point, how difficult are oil changes going to be after the bar install? Is the bar in the path of the oil drip? Thanks.
