We don't need your input, m3 boy.

Just kidding. I completely agree.

More email from Ken at GTSpec:

David,

The lateral arm brace will fit if u have stock exhaust. That’s what it was test fitted on, there was a ¾ inch of space between the piping and brace on the test fit.

Ken Chan

Ken,

OK…. I am so thrilled with the lower tie bars that now I’m considering the Rear Lateral Arm Brace.
Does this fit the G35 Sedan? I took a test drive today on some very twisty roads and find that the tie bars compliment the Stillen sway bars very well. Handling seems improved quite a bit!

Regards,
Dave

Hi all,

I just installed the lower tie bars on my sedan! (no lateral brace). The car is so much more predictable. Turn in is improved, the car glides through the turns, and some of the chasis squeaks have gone away. I wished I knew about this sooner. Word of advice, mark your alignment cam bolts if you do the rear bar yourself, you'll save yourself an alignment.

Vodkarocket,

I cut and pasted your comments in an email back to Ken at GTSPEC. Maybe he will move on your suggestion!

That is exactly what the installers at ASAA Racing did!

Does anyone have the Stillen or JWT oil pan spacer and the front bar? I would like to get these but I don't think the front will clear my oil pan with the spacer on it.

Thanks.

THey are no longer, "installers"? LOL. So if you mark the alignment bolts - they screw the thing on and just get the bolt lined up where it was before the install and no alignment is needed?

PS my 3 bars are on the way..

Correct, mark the bolts and you will be fine. Now I'm really wishing I had bought the lateral bar...I was concerned with fitment issues with the stock exhaust. I have an '04 sedan but I have switched out the midpipe with ome from an '05 sedan.

So i'm confused about if you need BOTH the rear tie bar and the rear lateral bar. They seem to attach to the same mounting point from two different sides. Does having both make it stiffer over and beyond just having the rear tie bar?

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the lateral brace as well. No, the rear tie brace and lateral brace do not mount at the same location.

You sure have a love/hate relationship with the bastards/installers at ASAA

Based on everyone's reviews so far these bars seem like new must have items. The G is slowly turning into a larger faster version of my old Integra, bars everywhere dammit!

I just wish we could fit a upper front strut bar that was triangulated.

LOL
I like how you say bars everywhere =)
I guess this is because we don't have a very stiff chasis to start with, when compared to that of the Z or M
