Yeah, that beautiful blue bar is gonna get soaked in dirty oil during oil changes. But you will never see this bar. It is shrouded by the underbody diffuser. BTW, the partshippers price is VERY good. I paid $169 for the two bars, including shipping and tax. The $143.65 price looks very attractive! I wonder what their shipping price is?

I cant frikkin wait. That 4 point box must add a audi like level of rigidity that is so badly needed and I expect great things from the bars in terms of turn in and steering response. Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaato...

Guys..... most of the people here have the tie bar set installed but no one commented about the "lateral reinforcement brace" and the "GTSPEC 4 Point Mid Chassis Reinforcement Brace" that someone talked about.. Can someone post pics and give some comments on those as well??

you could just get a body shop to weld some cro-mo bars to those points on the chassis, right?

thinking about it... wouldn't putting this mod on the car defeat the purpose of having the double-wishbone-suspension on the car? i'm thinking it might decrease the comfort level of the ride....

It sure does! No big deal... I can't see my beautiful Stillen front sway bar either. This is not a cosmetic upgrade.

I didn't notice much of a difference driving home yesterday, mostly straight line driving. No comfort level decrease.

Professionals???? I was really looking forward to driving the G today... As I was pulling out of the garage this morning at 5:30 am, I heard this sickening scraping noise. I suspected the lower engine cover was dragging...Got down on my knees and peeked under and sure enough!! Damnit!!!!! So I took the Honda today. Now I have to jack the G up and reconnect what the "professionals" left undone. I thought I heard some funny "clunks" as I drove home yesterday. OH Crap!!!! At least it wasn't the new bars dragging.

No... you add these because for better turns, you want a stiffer chassis... this has nothing to do with the way your suspension moves...

Since we're on the topic of chassis stiffening, does anyone make a rear strut bar or X brace (front lower or rear upper) for the Sedans or do I have to get one custom-made? IMO, a rear sway bar works much better with a rear tie bar. But the rear tie bar works much better with the rear strut bar...

I think Stillen makes one? But it cuts into your trunk space, as the bar goes thru the trunk.

I will find out tonight! Damnit! I was checking everything these guys did yesterday and even took pictures of it. BUT....I didn't check the lower engine cover. The lower engine cover has two pieces. The big cover up front and then a narrow piece behind the big cover. SIGH.....
