I'm just curious here but do you guys just randomly search for post that are 6+ months old and give people advice? I understand if you're looking for help on a topic that's been discussed and posting a response but I'm sure the OP by now has already made up his mind on Auto or 6MT.

 

I dont have a G35 but its honestly is personal preference. Ive driven nothing but Manual all my life, and it doesnt bother me much. It only bothers me when I drive in LA traffic, then I wish I had an auto car. It also depends what kind of driving you plan on doing, by saying that youre thinking about modding, Im assuming youre going to be going on spirited runs, so you probably want an auto, Im looking at a sedan, and since I dont plan on doing any type of mods or spirited runs, Ill probably get an an auto, but Im unsure myself.

And then you got my dad on the other hand, who is plain tired of manual cars, especially in LA traffic. His next car will definitely be an auto
