I understand that an economical car like a honda would be better for first car but the reason why I worked my *** so hard was to get an awesome car that I really like.

I have considered SI for a while, I still do a bit, but the thing is I see them everywhere, and I want something original, not something that half the population has.

I live in Quebec / Montreal and I see a G35 like once a week or so.

I gotcha. Oh and re reading my post no, the Honda did not run for another 200k miles after the engine went lolllll we replaced the trans and then it got another 200. Then the engine went. Making it 800k. Lol

If you get a chance to get an Si DON'T PASS IT UP! I had a 2006 sedan and I kick myself for ever selling it. 30 mpg and in stock trim, handles as good at my modified G sedan. You really can't beat the "bang for your buck" factor.

Yeah I knew there was something wrong in your post, haha. That's still a whole lot of miles anyway.

If I wanted a SI, it would be very easy to find one, there are way more SI in sale than G35 around here. I don't like its style too much and the fact that so many people have one... I might reconsider though if the insurance for a G35 is too high...

It probably adds to the pleasure of owning one, doesn't it

They are more rare down here. Heck, in 2005, we had the only G35 sedan within 150 miles.....

I'm 18, soon to be 19, and I have an 04 coupe. My insurance is really high. Mostly because I got into an accident back in May that was my fault. I'm not sure the exact numbers, but my insurance jumped over $40 a month after my accident. I'm not sure of the actual monthly payment though. I'm still on my parents' policy so even though I pay for my insurance, I don't know how much it is. As far as a first car, it should be fine. I learned how to drive on a stripped down manual Ford Ranger. Total opposite of a G35 coupe. However, the G35 is a great car. As long as you're not a total idiot with the car you'll be fine. I live in Atlanta so premium is around $3.40 a gallon.I normally pay around $60 bucks a tank and I fill up maybe once a week. I also drive 20 miles one-way to work 4 days a week. If I didn't have as long of a commute to work, I think I could make it a week and a half without filling up (driving conservatively of course).

That was a useful answer, thank you, I'm quite curious of how much you pay for your insurance though.
