Buying a new car is aggravating! *Houston area*

I hate it....I'm trying to buy a new g35 automatic with sport tuned and premium and this dealership in houston told me 39990 drive out. WTF?! Damn it! I guess i'll shop around more. Anyone recommend a dealership in houston to go for the best price?

I went to North Houston Infiniti. Daryl was the man that I talked to. $36400 was my drive out price. That's an 05 coupe sport auto and aero package. That was a little bit over 1000 over invoice I believe. You should (and probably will) do better than that. Just go in there and tell them what you want to pay for it. If it's within reason, they'll eventually accept it. They may give you a line or two to get you to pay more, but just stick with it and you'll get it for a price that'll please u.

Purchased my '05 Sedan auto, with premium package (forget which pkg but the car has everything except navi), wheel/tire protection, windshield protection, paint protection, leather protection, dent protection. Drive out was $37k. See Linda at North Houston Infiniti

That's alot of protection. I'm already working with someone at north infiniti. I just have to get the right color combo and price.

It all takes time........

When I was looking for my G we went on line to
locate the car and had some idea what my cost
would be. The car was sitting in the showroom
ready to drive away.......it still took 3 hours. When
I purchased my '92 300ZX I pointed out the car
to the salesman and let him know how much I was
willing to pay and once again it took 3 hours.
I believe you can't buy a car in less time even when
you write them a check for the amount....you still
need to go thru their b/s!

I'm on the same boat as you are. I'm working with someone at north and southwest infiniti. If you don't mind me asking, who's your salesperson and how much over invoice are they quoting you? The best offer I have so far is around $1500 over invoice.

I dealt with Linda at North Infiniti around a year ago for me sedan. I was expecting a better deal than the $1k over invoice that I got but the car did come with tint and 2 year free service. I could of got them to knock off the 2 year free service for a few hundred but figured it was not worth it. I didn't do much shopping around because I was looking for a very specific G35 that was hard to find (no options).

Shopping for a new car is aggravating but it is easier these days with the internet. Before driving to any dealer, surf their inventory to see if they have what you want. Figure out the invoice costs and start negotiations on the phone/email. Tell them what you want and what you will pay. I think it's easier to get a better deal this way than showing up in person. Usually, the people shopping on the internet are much more knowledgable and the dealer knows they have to come up with a good deal right away.

I also purchased my car from Daryl @ North Houston. Everything went very smoothly.
