Will clay stuff remove bird ****?

A bird crapped on by one of the door handles. It took me like five days to get it removed since I was so busy. The bird crap left a spot on the door handle. It would not come off no matter how much I washed the area.

Also, I noticed a chip on the grill and on the windshield.

you should try it, but my guess is that a clay bar will not remove it

It just looks like a water spot. I guess I have to get the paint polish?

Its a burn in the clear. The acid and sun bake it on and it will eat the clearcoat and leave an etched mark. You are more likely sol on this one. Next time just try to rinse that area off really fast.

Carry some Quick Detailer with you all the time. It will cut through the bird crap quickly...better than water alone.

Try some Meguires Scratch X on the handle.

Clay is definitely not going to do it. The acid in the bird poo etched the clear coat of your car. If you're lucky it's not too deep and you can polish it out with a buffer. If you're unlucky it's not repairable.

Damn, I think it got really deep. I left it there for like 4/5 days. It's a really big spot. You can't see it from afar but noticeable up close.

What happens when you wipe the bird crap off and it's stained....what I mean is how can you get it out? Can you get it off and what it the best approach to doing so? On my blue coupe, I noticed that when I wipe off the bird crap, it leaves like a green spot at times.

It's not just how long you leave it on the paint but also how acidic the poo is that determines how deep the etching could be. Sometimes you can polish it out and sometimes you can't. Either way you'll need a buffer to have any chance of correcting it.

That's probably etching. You need to wipe bird poo off immediately and keep your car well waxed to avoid these stains.
