Re: Zaino

Wow, 5 coats. How long did it take you? It looks great but feels even better.

Re: Zaino

Heh...took around 6 and a half hours.

My arm still hurts a bit but its all worth it, I had neighbours asking if it was a brand new car...even though we got in in August 2003.

Re: Zaino

Turb0, for future reference, you might think about applying the z6 in between the z5 coats like you did with the z2. Also, zaino advises to only apply 3 coats every 24 hours even with zfx. Why? I don't know but they do.

Re: Zaino

My G looks infinitely better with successive coats of Zaino. I love the stuff.

Re: Zaino

Thanks for the tip al...I'll keep it in mind next time I feel like turning the car into the mirror...

About the three coats..oh well...I dont see any problem with the car right now...so I guess it isnt a huge deal.

Re: Zaino

did you clay your car first?

by the way the reason Zaino says to wait 24 hours between coats is to allow the polymers to bond to the paint. If you apply another coat before 24 hours you will be removing the old coat while adding the new one.
