I've used Meguiars Gold Class wash for the past couple years. It works great. I just swtiches to the NXT Wash. So far so good. I've heard it's supposed to reduce the amount of dust that collects. Jury is still out on that.

I've used NXT Wax for ~ 2 years. It's great. Easy on and easy off.

Personal opinion is you can't go wrong with anything Meguairs....

thanks man..i appreciate it. im gonna try it out today after work or tomorrow before i head out for the weekend....oh yeah.

I've seen soo many posts about the cloths people use. Any major differences between...micro-fiber, 100% cotton, terry cloth..etc... are they all pretty much the same with just different names for them?

microfiber for less chance of micromarring... but you should use quality MF towels. Try the meguiar's water magnet for drying. I'm sure you'll like it. Just run the hose without a nozzle to help eliminate water on the car. You most likely won't need to wring out the towel. For wax application you can use a MF applicator or foam applicator. Buffing, use a plush MF towel. Cotton towels may induce micro scratches on the surface. Best to play it safe.

yes. get a drying towel, polish towel, etc...

I've gotten all of my stuff from Nick at detailersparadise.com He's super helpful and it doesn't hurt they have a shop here in Denver that I can pick up high quality stuff from.

Try and find an outlet store that sells the reject name brand towels.

I found a Fieldcrest Cannon outlet store and I buy their best 100% cotton towels.....that would cost you $30 - $40.00 at a department store.....for lke $4.99 each!!
They are slightly irregular and they can't retail them.....but they are perfect for your car.
