the megan racing Y-Pipe will be bigger diameter than the OEM one....so as far as flow that would work better however if you have Test pipes or anything like that install you dont want to much free flowing......if its to much you will have more rasp.
The OEM still leaves you with alittle back pressure to cancel out rasp.

m2 performance y pipe is nice jon if you want an hr y. 100 shipped from a seller on ebay. its 3in diameter. So your exhaust will be 3" from cat back, people say it dual 2.5 is better for na and 3" is better for turbo i think.. But you really wont tell a difference between 2.5 and 3" on a NA application.
I think 3'' cat back sounds mean.. thats what i've got.

i have a 03 sedan with Test pipes , coupe mid, and a magnaflow muffler. i wanna get a Y pipe, but if i go with the M2 hr y pipe isn't that for 07 and up sedans? Or do i have to get the De y Pipe? My rasp is still pretty bad so i heard before that a Y would help. If both are possible on my car isn't the Hr longer than the DE? Sorry for all the questions lol

any Y pipe for HR fits as a direct replacement to your stock DE Y-pipe. Rasp would be helped out alittle by a Y-pipe however your problem is the test pipes..if you dont have resonated then your going to have rasp...The only time you really want free flowing test pipes is for a Twin turbo application.
