Is this kind of the break-in tune for the new built motor and then you will change things up for more power, or will this be the final tune/setup ?

They did break in the motor before putting the s/c back on. He said that was about 10psi so that's about as much as you can get out of the 2.87 pulley. So I am limited on the amount of power I can make by the s/c impeller speed. I know the motor could take a lot more they say stage 1 is good until about 650 hp. But this way I should be able to drive it all day at the track with no problems. And if I ever want to add TT later or a N20 shot I could.

Wow, those numbers are @ 10psi with a 2.87 pulley?? I'm running 366/300 at just under 6psi with the stock pulley.

Are you running a free flowing exhaust? (HF cats + catback or TD?)

Remember my car is a auto and that is another 5 to 10 % drive train loss. I do have HFC, and Y pipe with cat back exhaust. He said he was right at 390 but he pulled some timing so this might be a very conservative tune. It could have a lot to do with the engine being brand new as well cause new engines don't make full power until there broke in. I don't really know why I am just guessing. Remember its also hard to compare cause each car's numbers were on different dyno's.

Very good point! It's all about the gain from stock, numbers on their own don't mean too much.

Later down the road you could dyno at Corvette's of Dallas, about 15 of us or so dynoed there so we have a good sample, including auto's (which is another good point).

Thanks Adam sorry I couldn't make it out yesterday. I am also wondering what I would pull on a different dyno once I get some more miles on the new engine.

Well I got the car back again, it's running good except has the service engine soon light on don't know what's causing that but I need to get it inspected.

Go to the nearest Autozone, they'll scan your codes for free.

That's right, forgot about them.. Autozone will scan the codes for free.. R1Forever80 helped me clear them though.. (troubleshoot the problems and resolve, not just clear them)

i hooked up my Cobb tuning access port and it's a P0430 TW Catalyst System, Bank 2 . So I cleared it and drove a little last night and it has not come back. I will drive some more today and hopefully it will stay off so I can get it inspected.
