I washed my G. She was so dirty. I gotta say that Armour All Wheel Protectant really works quite well. I sprayed my new wheels a week ago before I put them on and even with the auto-x event last Sat they were still looking very clean. Just sprayed them with water and done... didn't even need to scrub. Usually my wheels would only look good for about 2 days without wiping off the brake dust. Also love the spl solid rear diff bushings. Amazing how much better the car drives now. SOOO Much better than stock. I'd say that's an essential mod if you drive hard. Props to Jake for that! We got it done start to done in 4 hours.

^cool, i think i'm going to try it out, my wheels only stay nice and clean for about 2-3 days.

FYI tho there's a chance of rain every day till saturday i think.

Now you're making me want a tune to realize the gains from my bolt on mods.. I have intake, 1/2" spacer, Berk HFCs and Fuji exhaust.. I got a +2 degree tune by Adam and noticed the car gained a little pep in responsiveness but nothing more. So you're saying that I'd really notice some substantial gains w/ a proper tune from Steve w/ those bolt on mods?

just a word of advice tony. I had my timing advanced 2 degrees and when I started putting on some aftermarket intakes, I had to turn that back. I found on the intake dyno day that I started getting a pinging. some intakes I had to decrease timing to -2 (+2-2 is the limits of cipher)

seriously duelper4mance knows what hes talking about. all the research I've done on Steve points to him being a seriously good tuner. I don't know many people that get flown around the world for their tuning abilities. It's really nice to have that talent local.

once I get some details Ironed out I'll make a thread for tuning signup

Back in the old days, a person would advance their timing a few degrees, and change the jets in their carb. This could really change the attitude of a motor.. Today, you can literally squeeze out ever last drop of power out of a motor with a proper tune. There is so much involved. More than a chip, or an over the internet tune can possibly offer. It really takes an expert, with the proper tools.. That my friend, is Steve Kan, and I can guarantee only one thing.. Steve will squeeze out every possible bit of Horse Power, and Torque. Every part that you add changes the all the variables of your tune. The only way to make that part work as efficiently as possible is to tune for it. Example: I was at Steve's shop a few years back tuning my Integra. I already had one of the best headers on the market, full 2 1/2" exhaust, and the best intake.. I topped out on power, so Steve suggested that I get a test pipe to open it up just a little more. I agreed, and opted to gut my high flow cat.. Before I re-tuned, I lost some serious power. After the re-tune, I ended up losing a pony or so on the top end, but gained massive amounts of torque. The end result was a LOT more usable power. That one change made a huge difference that I never would have seen had I not re-tuned.

it was 350... then 375, now 400??? how about I just blow your stock motor up for you.

well the utech already has a tune from him that was at 352. Im gonna run meth and have a few more mods than the z had. We will c. Ill be happy with 375

dang man.. sold.. Lemme know when the day is.. seriously.. I want to see the potential of my car realized... I didn't buy those mods just to say I had them..

btw, that ^ would be over 600hp on a dynojet, and e85 would net even more power...

yeah I've seen some sick tunes on e85, one good thing about that fuel is it burns cooler so you can run MOAR!

Indeed.. I was rocking 13.5:1 compression in my B20vtec Integra. I couldn't even run 93 octane without detonation under load. I converted to E85, and pulled close to 200hp on Steve's mustang dyno, which would be about 230 on a dynojet. I miss that car.. I should have never sold it.. But yea, its all about the E85. Because of its effective octane, it resists detonation much like C16 race fuel. That means you can push the timing more, and run a little more lean, which equals MOAR power!

What are the downsides of runnin e85? Not really worried about gas mileage
