Have you taken your car down the drag strip?
Since more of us have been to the track in the past few years, let's try and get a simple database going. Maybe it could get stickied. Please keep conversation out of the thread.

Body type: 2005 Sedan
Transmission: 5AT
Modifications: Z-Tube, K&N Filter, !Power Duct, Mobil 1 full synthetic
Track location: Sacramento Raceway
Conditions: 90 degrees at about sea level
Miles: 15k miles on the odometer
60': 2.2
ET: 14.6
MPH: 96.5 MPH
That was the best the car would do, I have a lot of track experience in various different cars and it simply will not go faster than that. The same night there was a 2003.5 or 04 Sedan 5A all stock and his best time was 14.8 or 14.9 at 94-95mph.

Were those really your only mods during this run?
Have you attempted the strip with your current mods?
Those are very good times by the way, especially if it was done before the additional mods.

Well, it was most of my mods. I didn't include the 350z midpipe, or the all season tires. The midpipe might have affected my time by all of .03 seconds, and the all seasons might have helped with traction and the temps.
But the largest factor was the temp.
I have been back to the track several times since then, and haven't gotten back in the 13's. But I will correct that soon.

My first track trip in 6 years. With a good launch the car can run mid/high 12's no problem.
