Mine shifts just fine. We'll have to see how it does in the long run. Maybe I should change my tranny fluid to Redline.

its a machine, AT or MT, things WILL break how soon, depends on how you drive it.

that just isnt true..lol

according to motor trend 14.23@99.4 vs 14.68@97.08

half a second and 2.5mph is not a hair, its like 4-5 car lengths

and the fastest ones on this site
1. BobbyD --------- 03 - Sedan - 6MT - 13.84@101 ----- 2.040 60ft --- Verified --- Street --- -1200ft DA
2. Reidonly ------- 05 - Coupe - 6MT - 14.05@102.35 -- 2.193 60ft --- Verified --- Street ----
3. Dv8 ------------ 03 - Coupe - 5AT - 14.37@96 ------ 2.217 60ft --- Verified --- Street ---- ????ft DA
4. Buccaneer ------ 05 - Sedan - 5AT - 14.39@97.09 --- 2.198 60ft --- Verified --- Street
5. 06g35meister --- 06 - Coupe - 6MT - 14.40@96.9 ---- 2.253 60ft --- Verified --- Street ---- ????ft DA

thats really not close even

sure in the street its easier to just stomp on the gas and go and maybe that makes it seem closer but thats just because you need to be a good driver to get the 6mt to perform run those times where as in an auto everyone is a good driver

I cant believe you are quoting a magazine at all.

As for the members on here that you mentioned, you realize only one of themm (bobbyD) has any significant time difference overall. The M/Ts had a .35 sec between just them, and the 06 MT which has the most power stock of all you mentioned is the slowest on your list. the ATs are within .02 of each other, and the 05 6MT is not much faster than the ATs, so in reality, you actually proved my point. The trap speed is higher for the MTs probably due to better gearing, but the ETs are definately within a close range to make it very close.

What's the difference between the 05 6MT and 06 6MT?

I believe the 05 MTs were still pushing 280hp, and the 06 MTs went to 298hp

LOL! You got me confused for a second! LOL

I will say, me and Robert (Shrummi) did about 19 runs together. I still have the slips for some reason. Difference was about .2-.5 and 2-3mph depending on the 60ft's.

As I've said before, I could care less who is faster. It was just fun to run against a fellow G owner.

i would take the G to Qualcomm since its an Auto and its only 1/8 mile, but their rules are too strict for me

The altima when it was bone stock was running low 9s, but with the power in the Altima i need at least a 1/4 mile run to use my power properly

Those are uncorrected times. It's hard to make a direct comparison, and it throws off the traps and ET's.

For example, I have an 03 5AT, and I ran a 14.23@99.86 in 1243 DA (haven't been put up on the list yet). This means that I would run a 14.04@101.23 at sea level. The 13.84@101 run for the top 6mt is -1200 DA, so he'd be around 14.05@99.69 at sea level. All in all, the autos are, on average, quicker than the 6mt's becasue it's just harder to get the 6mt's off the line. Autos are consistent, and if you have a strong example it'll trap right with the quicker 6mt's. Don't try to make it out like there is some massive difference. There are plenty of 6mt drivers turning in 14.7-15.0's becasue they have no idea how to get a decent 60 foot.
